Model of the day: Coco Rochoa

She was discovered when the modelling agent Charles Stuart spotted the unusual looking Coco at an Irish dance competition.

She has been linked to  famed photographer and model star-maker Steven Meisel, who put the then 17-year-old under exclusive contract, shooting her for Italian Vogue many times. "It's just such an awesome thing to be working for the most powerful man in fashion and the best fashion photographer in the world," said Rocha at the time.

You might also have seen her current campaigns for The Gap, Dolce & Gabbana, Tommy Hilfiger and Yves Saint Laurent's Elle fragrance; attending the Met's Costume Institute Gala in New York wearing a fabulous Pucci dress accompanied by model gal pal Anja Rubik; and gracing the runway for Jean Paul Gaultier, Rodarte, House of Holland, Luella, Zac Posen, Bottega Veneta and more.

Other than modelling she is known for  her love for Irish dancing — this wasn't just a hobby for Rocha. She's also known for her quirky looks, which have attracted the likes of Nicolas Ghesquiere at Balenciaga and Alber Elbaz at Lanvin, who had Rocha star in their campaigns.

The Show Must Go On

Alexander McQueen. After a part of the fashion world died on 11 February once with the artist, I was sad. Really,really sad. He was my favourite designer. Now I'm happy to see that Sarah Burton is the new creative director of the brand. She has been helping Alexander McQueen for 14 years. The critics think that what she did is more ART than fashion. And I agree, but McQueen always combined them perfectly.

McQ. was known for a futuristic perspective on the clothes, for the extravagant prints and a genious mix of volums.

I think Sarah Burton combined something from the previous collections with a fresh touch of her own.

You know how much I love Audrey Hepburn and it seems that the designers were inspired by her style! Louis Vuitton,Chanel,Prada,Giles...the elite! The circle skirts are so chic, feminnine and delicate, they are a must have for this fall! The waist is the most important thing: it is small, xtra-small!

Fall Coats

I am trying to find a perfect coat for the fall, and I have something in my mind.

It is hard to find an affordable one-like not 1000-2000$- to look like that.
I guess you can see what I am looking for: a camel coat, caramel/nude colour, simple and just fabulous.
